At the end of the Niobrara County Fair different business sponsor and make up teams that participate in the Agriculture Olympics. It is always fun and exciting.
Ranch rodeo at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds. The calcutta starts at 3pm. The rodeo starts at 4pm.
This is like a regular rodeo with a few different events. The main difference is that all the participants have to be actual working cowboys on ranches for their day jobs.

The Legend of Rawhide begins again. Lusk celebrates the Legend of Rawhide each year the 2nd weekend in July.
See the schedule here for events that will be happening that weekend. There will be a performance, parade, car show, dance, and lots of fun.
Ticket prices for the event are as follows
$20 for ages 13 and up. Those 12 and under are free.
Show only tickets are $15. Weekend pass is $35. NO EARLY TICKET DISCOUNTS
Dance only tickets are $10
Celebrate the 4th of July in Lusk, Wyoming.
The city usually celebrates the day with a parade downtown and a magnificent firework display at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds in the evening.
Swap meet fundraiser at the Elk's lodge in conjunction with Alumni weekend and Charlie Chamber days.

Class reunions and events for graduated of Niobrara County High School.
During the day the Great Race will be stopping in Lusk before heading onto the Black Hills on there journey across America. Cars will be arriving in 1 -2 minute intervals with approximately 100 cars heading through.
This race is antique, vintage, and collector cars facing a race of endurance as they travel a specific route across the country. Visit http://www.greatrace.com/2016-route for their route this year and more information.
There will be a lecture given by Barbara Bogart who is a historian detailing the history of Carnegie libraries in Wyoming. The Niobrara County library is a Carnegie library.
The lecture starts at 6pm.

The Humor of Pat McManus will be performed at the Niobrara County High School starting at 7:00pm sponsored by the Silver Cliff Theater Company.
Admission: 12+ $12.00 each, 6-11 $6.00 each
Third annual charity golf tournament. Raising scholarship funds for high school students of Niobrara County. Starts at 10:00 a.m. and is a two person scramble with cost of $60 per players. Tee Prizes, lunch provided by Search and Rescue and Zerbe Gun Works. Register at the pro shop at 307-334-2438.
Niobrara County Library is a Carnegie Library built in 1919 and is still currently used as a library. This exhibit details the story of Carnegie libraries in Wyoming. Check out the Niobrara County Library's website here for details about the exhibit.
